Many of the horror, glam, and trash elements that would later become famous are already evident in Manson's stage show, and the band plays quite tightly for a debut band. Songs like "My Monkey," "Strange Same Dogma," and "Sam Son Of Man" certainly have charm and clearly benefit from Manson's sick, psycho-like demeanor. However, there are some drawbacks in terms of sound and picture quality, as the gig was recorded by Manson's then-girlfriend Missie Romero with a rather crappy camera. Die-hard Manson fans should still enjoy this rare material. The bonus section features excerpts from another early concert, and in a short sequence, you can even see a very young and rather well-behaved Manson playing the drums (without the bass drum or hi-hat).
